 The 3 Valleys steam railway is a 14 km long standard gauge Belgian tourist railway, created in 1973, and which operates in the Walloon Region in particular the Mariembourg - Treignes section of line 132 ( Charleroi to Vireux- Molhain , in France ). It has a significant heritage of historic railway rolling stock from several countries, and every year organizes a steam festival appreciated by many enthusiasts. - September 27th & 28th, 2025 : Steam Festival

Then discover the Château, during a guided tour or a self-guided tour: the Entrance Hall, the Weapons room, the Thierry Bosquet Salon, the Portrait Salon, the Winter Garden, the Chapel and the Theatre listed as Exceptional Heritage of Wallonia. The self-guided tour is carried out independently, using an online smartphone application. ⛳ Have fun on the 9-hole Mini-Golf course, set up in the main courtyard of the Château de Chimay. 🍻 Enjoy the Princes terrace while tasting a Trappist from Chimay during your visit.

Thanks to its reed bed and its 80 hectare lake, the Aquascope Virelles is the center par excellence for the discovery of all the splendors that nature has to offer. Whether you are a novice, a naturalist or whether you come with your family or a group, the pond will make you discover its thousand and one riches. The Aquascope Virelles mission is to combine tourism, education and environmental protection. This is to keep the tourist use of the site but to reduce its impact on the environment and put it to the benefit of awareness.

 A stone's throw from the Notre-Dame de Scourmont Abbey, the Auberge de Poteaupré has been welcoming you for more than 100 years in a warm and rural atmosphere. Each room is harmoniously decorated and themed in the colors of the Trappist products of Chimay. : Chimay Bleue, Dorée,... the choice is yours They are all equipped with a bathroom with bath or shower, a mini-bar, air conditioning and television. The hotel has an elevator and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is accessible every day of the year (except annual closure from 10/12/25 to 28/12/25 included and from 31/12/25 to 01/01/26 included). However, it is only possible to have a meal according to the restaurant's timetable (see our timetables)

CHIMAY EXPERIENCE Dive in the heart of our interactive exhibition. Discover the secrets of the history and the making of the Chimay Trappist beers and cheeses. Prolong the experience to the Abbey Notre Dame of Scourmont through a walk and discover the park, the church and the cemetery (+/- 1h30). The Experience doesn't include a visit of the brewery (access prohibited). At the end of the visit, you'll be offered a Chimay on tap in the Inn.
